General Notes: Husband - James Nesbit
After marriage, he moved to a farm one mile south of his later one and lived there until 1870, when he took possession of his later place. He made many substantial improvements, erecting a large frame residence in 1874 and a commodious barn in 1883. His son-in-law, Mr. Fullerton, later rented the farm but did not operate it himself, sub-letting it.
Mr. Nesbit was connected with the Westfield Presbyterian Church, not only being a faithful member, but beginning in 1886 was one of the elders.
