General Notes: Husband - Stewart Henderson

He was born in County Derry, Ireland, about forty miles from Dublin. He came to America when about eighteen years old, in 1772 [sic], with but one shilling in his pocket. He afterwards owned over five hundred acres of land near East Leisenring.

He was born in Ireland and came to America, settling in Erie County, Pennsylvania, about 1831, and later removing to Fayette County, in whose courts he was naturalized in 1846. He was a resident of Dunbar Township, Fayette County.
