General Notes: Husband - John Fletcher Henderson

---

He was a member of Pleasant View Methodist Church, but his wife was raised a Presbyterian. After their marriage, Hannah united with the Irwin Cumberland Church, hoping John would do the same, but his early training and parental influence kept him in the Methodist fold. A compromise was made, however, whereby they attended both churches but on alternate Sun­days. He became an invalid many years before his death.
