He was a brother of Zwingle A. Yearick's father. Zwingle and his father were both Reformed ministers, preaching in Center County, Pennsylvania, the father being associated with Dr. Henry Ziegler, in introducting English preaching in central Pennsylvania; the one in the Reformed, the other in the Lutheran church.
