General Notes: Husband - George Simpson Howe
He was a graduate of the Franklin, Pennsylvania, High School, and engaged in the Oil and Gas business. He assisted in piping natural gas into Franklin, Sharon and Youngstown; was employed by the Atlantic Refining Company, of Franklin, as traveling representative, was sent by that company in 1888, to Burlington, Vermont, to represent the late F. W. Ballard, with whom he was associated in the oil business. After 1907, he acted as Millers' Agent for the Northwestern Milling Company, of Minneapolis over a wide territory, with headquarters at Burlington, Vermont.
