Katherine Heckathorn
Funeral services were held in Bradford for Mrs. Katherine E. Heckathorn, 56, who died Thursday shortly after arrival at Bradford Hospital.
Born January 16, 1926, in Emlen­ton, she was a daughter of Leonard and Mary Bell Sloan.
She was married May 3, 1948, to Jack S. Heckathorn, who survives. They resided at 440 Congress St. in Bradford.
Mrs. Heckathorn was a former employee of Pennbank. She served on the board of direc­tors of the Bradford YMCA and was a member of the Pen­nhills Club.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Cheryl Fry of Temple, N. H., and Mrs. Debra Hrncirik of Natick, Mass., a son, Stan Heckathorn of Brad­ford; and three grand­children.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Bradford YMCA.
