General Notes: Husband - Samuel Heath

He was of Scotch-Irish descent, and his early years were spent in the state of New Jersey. He was a soldier in the Continental army during the War of the Revolution, and after his marriage at an early age, he went west to Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, where he took up a large tract of land in Jefferson township. He was a Baptist in religious faith.
