General Notes: Husband - George Delbert Heasley

Brookville, Jefferson Co, PA - a merchant

He was prominent as a lumber dealer and operator of a men's furnishing store in Pennsylvania, and in February, 1925, at the same time as his son, he entered the grocery business. Later, in association with Bess M. Heasley, he opened the Heasley Kitchen, for the canning of marmalades, jellies and other preserves. They continued in this enterprise for thirteen years, their merchandise being distributed throughout the United States and in Canada, until the time of their retirement when they moved to Orlando, Florida.
