General Notes: Husband - William Hazlett

He was a soldier in the War of 1812, from Indiana County, Pennsylvania.

He was of Irish stock, and the first of the family to come to Indiana County, Pennsylvania, settling near Chambersburg [Chambersville?], where he secured land, cleared it and made a home for his family, and there spent the remainder of his life in agricultural pursuits. [HIC 1913, 1517]
