The McAnulty Elevator and Conveyor and Horse Hay Fork, patented March 7th, 1876, was the invention of J. A. McAnulty. He sold a part interest to Schwan, Clouse, Grosscup & Co., of Columbus, Ohio, who manufactured the machines for the trade.
