General Notes: Husband - Alfred Leeson

He was brought to America when an infant.
He raised horses and shipped them back to England for sale.
He was killed as a result of an accident while driving a team of horses. He stood up to try and gain control of them after they became excited. He was unable to get out of the way or perhaps didn't see a tree limb which struck him, breaking his neck. His daughter Bessie was with him, but was not injured. A surgeon from Des Moines was sent for, but his injuries were too extensive and he died the next day.
