General Notes: Husband - Joseph Crocker Sibley, Jr.
He attended the graded schools and the high school at Franklin, Pennsylvania, and Betts Academy at Stamford, Connecticut. He was graduated A. B. at Cornell University in 1910. He completed the four years course in three and one-half years, spending the last half of his senior year at Eastman Business College. At Cornell he received numerous honors from his fellow-students; he was assistant business manager of the Cornell Alumni News; literary editor of the Cornell Widow; president of the Men's Association of Arts and Sciences, and won election to the honorary senior class society known as Sphinx Head. At the University of Wisconsin where he spent a part of a year, he won second prize for an article contributed to The Badger, and was chosen one of the board of editors. At Eastman Business College he completed the course in stenography in the shortest time ever made by any student in that institution. He was later in the employ of the Galena-Signal Oil Company.
