General Notes: Husband - Seymour C. Hollingsworth
Derry, Westmoreland Co, PA - a contractor and builder
He learned the trade of carpenter and as contractor and builder erected many buildings, public and private. In 1861 he enlisted in the Eleventh Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, and served until honorably discharged at the close of the war in 1865. He was taken prisoner by the enemy on one occasion, but made his escape the following day. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church.
