General Notes: Husband - James Holliday
He was lieutenant of Capt. John Steel's company, and participated in the Kittanning expedition in 1756. He commanded a detachment sent to reconnoitre the mountains west of Fort Loudon, June 9, 1757, and was surprised and killed by the Indians in the Big Cove.
