General Notes: Husband - Clemans D. Arird
He was educated in the public schools at Sugar Grove, Pennsylvania, and at the Collegiate Institute at Jamestown, New York. For a short time he taught school in Warren County, Pennsylvania, when he was elected county superintendent of schools, which position he held at the time of his death, in the prime of life.
was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Sugar Grove, Pennsylvania, and of the Ancient Order of United Workmen at Lander, Pennsylvania.
