General Notes: Husband - Dr. David Wishart
He studied medicine with his father, practiced in Washington County, Pennsylvania, and in Greene County until 1862, when he went into the army as lieutenant in the Twenty-second Pennsylvania Cavalry. After the war he settled in Washington, Washington County.
He graduated from Washington and Jefferson College, and for many years was a prominent medical practitioner in Washington County, Pennsylvania. Shortly before his death he retired to Washington borough.
He and his wife had a family of eight children; only one was still living in 1910.
