He died May 12, 1876. [WF, 14] But the same source later states that he had children born after this date to his second wife. Could this actually be the date of death of his first wife? [HIC 1880, 460] states that he was deceased before 1880. But [WF, 15] states that he had children born after this date and suggests that he and his wife were still living in 1894.
