General Notes: Husband - Elisha Hartman

He was brought up on a farm, and attended the common schools. Clarion township, Clarion County, Pennsylvania, became his place of abode, and there he owned seventy-five acres of land. He was a Democrat. At one time he was a member of the Reformed church, but he was afterward a Presbyterian.

He died June 27, 1901. [GPHAV, 944] This is a very different date than that given by the other source. And it seems more than coincidence that the same date of death is given for his brother.
