Frankford, Philadelphia Co, PA
He came to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with his wife, from the eastern part of Pennsylvania, prior to 1800. He was a boat builder and constructed the first steamboat to go down the Ohio river. He resided on the North Side, and continued actively as a boat builder until his death.
