General Notes: Husband - Isaac Keener Miller

He was born on the family homestead in Conemaugh township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, and there attended school. From early manhood he worked under his father, and moved with the family to Blacklick township, where he has continued farming ever since, living on the George Howard farm, where his father settled. He made extensive improvements on this tract of 204 acres, making many changes which added materially to its value.
He was one of the organizers of the Farmers' Telephone Company, of which he was a director; and served his township as auditor and school director, and was an active member of the Bethel Presbyterian Church, of which he was a trustee. A Republican in politics, he was greatly interested in the success of the party and acted as member of the election board.

She was educated in the district schools and the State normal school at Indiana, Pennsylvania, and taught school for two years in Center township.
