General Notes: Husband - David Fulwood Kilgore
He received his education at the public schools of Greensburg, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, to which place his parents removed while he was yet a very small child. He afterwards attended a business college, where he took a commercial course, the better to fit himself for practical business life. While still a mere youth he became associated with his father in the horse business, their trade consisting in the shipping of horses to New York City for the eastern market. Some time later, however, he severed this connection and formed a partnership with the Thomas E. Pollard Company of Pittsburgh. With this concern he remained associated for a period of thirty years up to the time of his death.
