General Notes: Husband - William McJunkin
He came to America from County Down, Ireland, when a child, locating with his parents in York County, Pennsylvania, and he and his two brothers, after arriving at manhood, emigrated to Western Pennsylvania, and settled in Washington County. There they purchased a tract of land, and William followed farming.
He was a native of Ireland whence he came to America when a boy. He was reared by a Mr. McKim, of Baltimore, Maryland, with whom he lived until eighteen years of age, being at that age a practical wheelwright. He located in Washington County, Pennsylvania, in West Pike Run township, when a young man, worked at his trade for several years, then purchased a farm upon which he resided until his death at the age of eighty-one years.

She was of Scotch-Irish parentage; she died in middle age.
