General Notes: Husband - [Father] Andrews

The Andrews family, which for many years was prominently represented in Mount Pleasant township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, is of Irish origin and came to America from County Antrim about 1800 in the person of its founder, Francis Andrews. Shortly after his settlement he was followed by two brothers, John and Alexander, who settled near him.
The three brothers were members of the United Presbyterian church of Mount Pleasant.
