General Notes: Husband - William Henry Harrison Anthony
Civil War: he enlisted in 1861 in Company F, 105th P. V. I., under Captain Kirk, of Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, and is supposed to have been killed in the battle of the Wilderness, having been wounded and carried back on the battlefield on the second day of the battle. Later a comrade passed by and stopped long enough to see that he was dead. The ground was subsequently burned over.
