General Notes: Husband - James Alexander Wilson
He was reared on a farm, and received a common-school education. When seventeen years old he began work as a carpenter, and in 1876 began contracting at Butler, Pennsylvania. Three years later he came to Wilkinsburg, and in 1885 opened a lumber-yard, and dealt in all kinds of carpenter's supplies. He became a member of the borough council. He was a republican, and a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
