General Notes: Husband - Michael Hammond


He came to America in 1874, with his youngest son Michael, and youngest daughter, Mary Jane, going first to Johnstown, Pennsylvania, where his eldest daughter Margaret, was then living. He did not long survive the journey, but passed away, strong in the faith of the established church, Episcopal.
