General Notes: Husband - George M. Taylor

---

He was reared on the farm and at the age of eighteen learned the manufacture of woolen goods. Afterward he followed this some years as a journeyman, and in 1852 returned to Amberson's Valley and bought the factory at that place. This he carried on for thirty-two years. Then, in 1883, he removed to Path Valley, and located on a part of the old Hammond property.
He was always a Republican in sentiment. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
