General Notes: Husband - Fred Reader Hertzog
He was graduated from Case School of Applied Science in June, 1896. He began work with the Buffalo, Rochester and Pittsburg R. R., at Rochester, New York, where he remained until May, 1899, when he accepted the position of draughtsman with Siemen R. Halske Electric Co., Chicago. In 1900 he accepted a similar position with the Brown Hoisting Machinery Co., of Cleveland, and was promoted to position of Squad Chief. In November the same year he accepted the position of Chief Engineer with Tate, Jones & Co., Pittsburgh.
