A newspaper correspondent, he was at one time correspondent in Washington for the Cincinnati "Commercial." He lived for a time at Chattanooga, Tennessee, where he was also correspondent and an alderman. He was a Republican in politics, and both he and his wife were Episcopalians.
Notes: Marriage
They were married January 30, 1896. [HNWP, 36] But this is impossible if other dates given in various sources are correct. Perhaps 1876 was meant?
