General Notes: Husband - Thomas Hamilton

---

Upon his arrival in America, he took up his residence near Brush Run, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, where he farmed the remainder of his life, dying at an age exceeding seventy years. His wife lived to be over ninety years old.

He was born in Ireland, and came to American in 1784. Like the majority of people at that time, he was engaged in farming. In political matters he was a staunch Whig, and took part in the Revolutionary War.
