General Notes: Husband - P. M. Morrison

He resided on the home farm in Nottingham Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, which consisted of 177 acres, and devoted his principal attention to raising sheep and cattle, usually keeping from one to three hundred sheep, and making a specialty of Shropshire stock. The farm contained a rich vein of coal, which he sold for a good price. He also owned two acres of land fronting on the railroad, and two double dwellings in the village of Venetia, one containing twelve rooms and the other six. Politically he was an advocate of the principles embodied in the Democratic party, and served as township auditor and supervisor. In religion he was a member of the Presbyterian Church at Fairview, and was leader of the choir.
