General Notes: Husband - Simon P. Shuey

He was associated with his brother, Henry D. Shuey, in the management of the home farm during the years of their father's retirement, and for five years after his death. On the division of the property Simon P. Shuey took a part which then constituted his home farm. He owned another farm of seventy-two acres near the town of Grapeville, Pennsylvania. He was a Republican in politics, and for four years served as supervisor of the township. For the same length of time he held the office of deacon of the First Reformed church.
