He was ordained by the Presbytery of Fairfield at Summit, Iowa, August, 1868. His life was that of a Home Missionary, diligent and faithful, and not unsuccessful. At Troy and Martinsburg, Iowa; at Larned, Thayer and Louisburg, Kansas; and in other points in Kansas he preached; later he moved to Topeka, Kansas, and presumably died there.
