General Notes: Husband - John Stevenson

He was reared in his native township, and his education was secured in the public schools of Bruin. In early manhood he engaged in agricultural pursuits, in which he continued most of his life, and for a number of years he was also successfully connected with the oil industry. A Prohibitionist in his political views, Mr. Stevenson took more than ordinary interest in local matters, and he was also prominently identified with educational interests of Parker Township, serving in the capacity of school director.
He belonged to the Methodist Episcopal Church, of Bruin, and served as a steward and trustee.
