General Notes: Husband - Matthew Henderson

The Henderson and Parker families emigrated to America from the Province of Ulster, Ireland, in the early part of the Eighteenth century. [About 1724] Thomas Henderson settled in the Pequea Valley, then within the confines of Chester, now Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. His grandson, Mathew Henderson, in 1790, became a citizen of Cumberland County, and resided in Middleton township, near Carlisle.

He moved to Perry County, Pennsylvania, where he died near Gibson's Rock.
