General Notes: Husband - Martin Heise
He (Solomon) was one of the pioneers of Union County, Pennsylvania, where he died at the remarkable age of over one hundred and seven years. He was a native of the Keystone State, but his parents were natives of Germany, who immigrated to Penn's Colony soon after it was founded.
He (Martin) was a cooper by trade and worked in Philadelphia during the revolutionary war; his first vote was cast for George Washington, and his last for Abraham Lincoln in 1864, and it is said the only time he rode in a buggy was when he went to the polls to vote for Mr. Lincoln when he was one hundred and four years old. His wife was a native of England.
General Notes: Wife - Mary Wagoner
