General Notes: Husband - William R. Gunn


He was reared in West Finley Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, and obtained his education in the schools of Washington County. He resided on a farm in South Franklin Township beginning in 1900. He was identified with the Republican party, which, in the spring of 1909, made him its local candidate for the office of director of the poor, for Washington County. He served as school director after removing to that township. He and his wife were members of Bethel Presbyterian Church at Van Buren, in which he was an elder.
