General Notes: Husband - John Yockey

He came from the eastern part of Pennsylvania to Westmoreland County, where he took up some four hundred acres of government land which was in later years divided among his children.

He was a farmer and owned a farm of two hundred acres of good land, and for several years held the office of justice of the peace. For a number of years he served as elder in the Reformed church.
