General Notes: Husband - William Chapman
He was educated in the local schools of Kendall, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, and took up farming upon completing his studies. In the year 1905 he bought the old Nickle farm, which had been in his mother's family, which contained two hundred and fifty-two acres lying in Greene township, and on this he lived and conducted a large dairy. Mr. Chapman made extensive improvements on his property. His herd consisted entirely of fine specimens of the Short Horn and Red Poll cattle.
He was a Republican in politics. He and his family were members of the Mill Creek Church.
