General Notes: Husband - Thomas Whittaker
He was a resident of Smith township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, before 1786. On the 21st of February of that year he took out a warrant for four hundred acres of land, which was surveyed to him by the name of "Slow and Easy." It was adjoining the "West Boston" tract, on which Burgettstown was laid out. On this farm he lived till his death.
