General Notes: Husband - Henry J. Griffin
He was born in Butler County, PA, and in 1855 he went to Iowa, and in 1858 moved to Kansas, and followed the occupation of a carpenter. In 1860 he returned to Hendersonville, Mercer County, PA, and in 1864 moved to Sandy Lake. In 1868 he purchased a farm, where he thereafter resided, following carpentering and farming. He held the offices of school director, supervisor, etc., of the township. He and his family were members of Hendersonville Methodist Episcopal Church. After 1860 he voted with the Republican party.
