General Notes: Husband - John R. Robinson
He and his wife resided in Saltsburg, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. He was engaged in the mercantile business, in the gents' furnishing goods and boots and shoes.
Civil War: He enlisted in the United State service, 135th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers, August 1, 1862. He was detailed as clerk for colonel till November 2d, and then was detailed as clerk of provost marshal's office till February 15, 1863. He next was detailed as clerk 1st Brigade, 3d Division, 1st drum corps, and was detailed till his time expired.
