General Notes: Husband - John Gray
He was reared on the old homestead in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and upon reaching manhood settled on a farm of his own in the same neighborhood, where he also had a saw mill. He lived and labored there all of his life. He was a soldier in the War of 1812-14

Her brother was John Ward, a Revolutionary soldier, an ensign and an original member of the Society of the Cincinnati.
