General Notes: Husband - William Anderson
He came to Erie County, Pennsylvania, with his parents in 1802, and had but few educational advantages. He was a wagon-maker by trade, and followed that occupation. During the War of 1812 he was in the service and was an ox-teamster, drawing supplies for Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry's fleet.
