General Notes: Husband - Samuel Grandin
He was born about the year 1700, on the Isle of Jersey, on the coast of France, from whence he emigrated to the new world, settling in New Jersey, where he passed the greater part of his life, honored and respected. He was industrious and enterprising, applied himself assiduously to his labor, and prospered. He reared a large family of children, to whom he gave an excellent education, three of his sons being specially educated, one for the legal profession, one for the ministry, and one for mercantile business.
