General Notes: Husband - William Sides

He was born in Pine township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, and there grew to manhood, attending school at Pine Flats. He followed farming all his life, and moved to his own home in Pine township about 1873. For nine years he held the position of township overseer, and he served several years in the office of school director. In politics he was associated with the Republican party.
