He and his wife had no children of their own, but adopted a son and reared several others, and particularly during the Civil War period they were friends of children whose fathers were in the field, taking several of them into their home.
He and his wife were both members of the Slate Lick Presbyte-rian church. Mr. Graham, like his father, was a democrat in politics.
