General Notes: Husband - Daniel McKesson

About 1776, he migrated from Adams County, Pennsylvania, to Blacklegs creek, in what is now Conemaugh township, Indiana County, and subsequently removed to the place later occupied by his son Robert. About the time of the latter removal or possibly while residing at their first location, the family were driven away by the Indians. They returned to Adams County, where they remained eight years before returning to the tract above named. The warrant was issued to Daniel McKesson, in 1815, and the patent to Robert and Sarah McKesson, in 1836.
