The first of this line concerning whom authentic record remains, is found, prior to Revolutionary times, a resident on historic Ye King's Highway, New Jersey, a thoroughfare thus named by the loyal English colonists who settled in that region soon after the grant of New Jersey was made. Robert Anderson's residence was about six miles from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
