General Notes: Husband - William Giffen
To a remarkable degree did William Giffen enjoy the confidence of all who knew him. He was a man of rare judgment and unflinching loyalty to his convictions. He was a Presbyterian and served in the office of ruling elder (as did also his father and grandfather before him) from the year 1867 until his death.
